Thank you for your question. I don’t use grow bags for environmental reasons.

And you’re right, to cut the bags open and remove the mycelium cakes would defeat the purpose of using grow bags. And I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to soak in the bag since I’ve never grown that way.

You may be able to contact your bag manufacturer and ask them.
